Air Swimmer Remote Control Air Shark
The Air Swimmer Remote Control Air Shark has to be one of the top Christmas gifts of 2011. Gone are the days of boring old remote control cars, and the RC helicopters like the Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter which I used to think was pretty cool are looking pretty lame next to this giant remote controlled great white shark that floats through the air.
Air Swimmer RC Shark Features
This RC Shark features a mylar balloon body just like many of the high quality helium birthday balloons. So it is quite durable, but yet soft and flexible enough to control indoors without having to worry about breaking things. Once filled with helium this remote control flying shark will float through the air for about two weeks before you will need to have it refilled again. There are two options available for refilling the helium in the remote controlled shark. My preference is to purchase my own helium tank which is readily available either online or at party stores, and Toys r Us. These tanks a relatively inexpensive and will allow you to refill the helium in your Air Shark at home. Your other option is to haul the Air Shark up to your local florist or party store and have them refill it for a couple of dollars. The only drawback to doing this is that now you have a 57 inch long shark balloon to try and fit in the car and take home.
As far as size goes this remote control shark is pretty big. Like I said earlier it is 57 inches long by 36 inches tall. It is controlled by a small remote that is powered by 4 AAA batteries (3 in the remote & 1 in the shark). As you will see in the video the this RC shark is quite graceful in the air being able to move forward up and down within a 40 foot range of the remote.

I can guarantee that almost ever kid that sees this rc shark is going to want one. Not to mention quite a few of the adults as well. So I would be willing to bet that the Air Swimmer RC Shark is going to be in short supply and high demand come Christmas time.
