Two Great Lego Series
Wooden blocks are probably the one toy that almost every child gets when they are a toddler. It is amazing how this simple toy keeps their attention so well until they get old enough to get their first set of Legos. Usually this first set of Legos consist of the over sized blocks that snap together and allow us to build pretty basic things without the worry of us putting them into our mouths and choking on them. Soon though as we get closer to probably first grade our parents buy us our first set of real Legos and this is when the real fun begins. It is just amazing all the different sets that are available today. You can literally build just about any thing that you can imagine, the sky really is the limit. So if you are contemplating getting your child their first Lego set here are couple of sets that your child will not only enjoy, but will also let their imagination run wild as well.
Lego Kingdoms
If you are looking for a large Lego set for your child then I would highly recommend taking a look at the 933 piece Lego Kingdoms Kings Castle set. This large Lego kit has every thing that your child will need to create a large Castle that has its own draw bridge that really works, along with a front gate that operates as well. In addition there are many other features of this Lego kit that will really spark your child’s imagination and keep them entertained for hours.

Lego Hero Factory
If castles and knights are not really of interest to your child then there is another fun series of kits that are gaining in popularity called the Lego Hero Factory. This series is all about good robots that are built at the Hero Factory to protect the universe from the bad robots that are trying to take over the universe. So if your child is into robots then maybe they might be interested in this series of kits instead.
